SHOFU HY-Bond Polycarboxylate Cement – High-Strength Bonding

SHOFU HY-Bond Polycarboxylate Cement is a zinc polycarboxylate luting cement for bonding metal crowns, bridges, inlays and orthodontic bands to prepared tooth surfaces. It provides strong adhesion and biocompatibility.

Low film thickness (25μm or less)
High compressive strength (50 MPa or higher)
Low acidity and solubility

Usage: For cementing metal restorations and orthodontic appliances. Mix powder and liquid according to instructions. Apply to prepared surfaces and seat restoration.

Mixing Ratio and Operation Manual:

Mixing ratio:
- For bonding/cementation: 2.2g powder / 1.0g liquid
- For base/liner: 3.2g powder / 1.0g liquid
Mixing:
- Divide powder into 2 portions
- Add 1/2 powder to liquid on mixing pad
- Mix for 15-20 seconds
- Add remaining powder and mix thoroughly
- Total mixing time: within 60 seconds
- Mixing temperature: 23±1°C
Application:
- Clean bonding surfaces
- Apply mixed cement to restoration or tooth
- Seat restoration firmly
- Remove excess cement after initial set
Setting time:
- For bonding: 2.5-8 minutes
- For base/liner: 2-6 minutes
Finishing:
- Complete final adjustments after full set
- Polish as needed
