Dental Implants are a type of dental implant that Trephine Drills can be used to remove bone surrounding implants that have an internal conical connection, a tri-channel connection, or an exterior hex connection to extract a defective implant. The trephine drill is used to remove implants by drilling bone outside the implant. Dental Implants trephine drills are effective in removing dental implants if they cannot be retrieved with a traditional retrieval tool.

The trephine burs create a hole in the jaw bone to place the implant fixture. The drills produce very little heat and do not harm the bone or mouth tissues in any way. Drills are equivalent and height to implant fixture size and tooth placement. The body of the trephine drill is stainless steel, and the cutting grits are high-quality diamonds.

It is not recommended that these drills be used for anything other than implant removal. Failure to detect real drill lengths in relation to radiography evaluation can result in irreversible bone and nerve damage.

The trephine bur kit is a one-time-use dental tool that cannot be reused. Mechanical, chemical, and biological features may be lost during reprocessing or sterilization. Cross contamination may occur as a result of reuse.
